Bill Hutchison - Guitar and Vocals

Bill started playing in High School and has been playing ever since. He has been performing in the Chicago area for over 30 years. He started putting Lake Effect together with Dean in 1998.
Founding member of Lake Effect.

 

Dean Groom - Bass Guitar and Vocals

Dean's music career spans 4 decades. Dino started playing trumpet then guitar and switched to Bass in 1994. Dean has been an active part of the local mucic scene performing with several bands.

Terry Cook - Drums, Vocals & Sound

Terry has been playing and singing various types of music for 4 decades. He's been performing with various bands throughout the Chicago area for more then 27 years. Out of all the types of music he's played, the Blues is his favorite.
"Playing with Lake Effect feels kinda like comin' home".

Danny Lemmon - Keys and Vocals

Danny is the most seasoned member of Lake Effect. Besides playing with several local acts he is a music teacher and band director. As a sideman on call he has played with, The Temptations, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Del Shannon, The Contours, The Drifters, The Diamonds and The Platters.

 

John Sabovcik - Trumpet and Vocals

John started playing the Trumpet in the 6th grade. At Portage High School he was part of the Jazz Band that won the Indiana State competition. He was also involved in Symphonic Band, Orchestra, Pep Band and Marching Band.
A founding member of Lake Effect.

 

Jessica Pergola - Tenor Sax and Percussion

Jess started squeaking on the alto saxophone in the 5th grade and now also plays tenor sax. Besides playing with Lake Effect she performs with several other local bands. She was also voted favorite soloist by the Midwest Beat Magazine 2007 readers poll.
